The ARAX mentioned by the original commentor is just shift. They make more than one model. The tilt-shift is the Super Rotator I referred to. It does not fit the A900 due to the mount size.

Not true; this 35/2.8 Arax is a Tilt and Shift lens, with 11mm shift and 8 tilt. The lens can rotate 360 degrees and locks at 12 angles.

Besides the schnieder I've heard good things about this lens.
http://www.rugift.com/photocameras/mc-80mm-tilt-shift-lens-minolta-af.htm

But, I'm not sure if it works on the A900.

The ARAX 35mm is only a shift lens, no tilt. The Hartblei Super Rotator (and the equally non-available ARAX Super Rotator) versions have tilt and shift, but will not fit the A900, only the A700 (removing the benefit of the wider angle). This is because the mount design fouls the prism housing.

One of the chickens we thought had been killed turned up again after the New Year, found in a neighbour's garden. So it had escaped the fox first, and then survived for three weeks in the middle of winter without getting caught by the fox. Now back with the rest, caged.

Thank you for this informative article!!

Have you ever considered this lens: http://www.araxfoto.com/specials/shift-35/

It's manual focus, but tilt- and shiftable, and at 35mm on full-frame almost wide enough for architecture work and the like.

Has anyone tried one of these before?

Tilt-Shift lenses are mentioned and debated much even in Photoclubalpha forum. And, yes, we do need such a lens.
Nice article, but quite short, I suppose.
And do get an Aikido or Kung-Fu master to train your hens.
