Coronavirus

The time is very unpleasant, almost all of social life has stopped. There is nothing to shoot there except to fight the virus. We left the city "by air" well and see what happens to the red river. So far, a couple of birds and ice have been cracked by special machines on the river. This is...

Re: Tiny sensor revenge gallery thread!

I’m lazy ... I didn't feel like going back to the hotel room behind the camera ... It's vacation... and I said to myself that I'll take a picture of it anyway, even if it’s my telephone. :) https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/b483gTXkY7qbu7UfdXelKAszk4q53KPlb-QFZ6xPWHLi8KEyKaS2cqoreXlivnRWtxm1wXBBq01h...

Re: Inexpensive but great lenses

The third one is just Wow!hiccup! Sury Thank you Sury! I agree with you, combination A77-2 + cheep DT SAL35F18 - super sharp and very good with AF too. So far between other prime lenses for Sony APC cameras it's the best and not inexpensive. For normal work i most off the time Zoom lenses, but for ...

Re: Tiny sensor revenge gallery thread!

Valery, They are as "usual" great shots. I have a question. How do you get full res images from the phone? On my phone, they look good on small screen but when I upload them, the resolution is gone. I have a Samsung S6 which should have plenty of resolution. Sury I mainly use Google Photo...

Inexpensive but great lenses

I took with me one A77-2 camera and a couple of inexpensive lenses like SAL35F18 and Tamron SP AF 70-300mm 4-5.6 Di USD on a short vacation to Cuba, just in case ... What happened. :) A77-2 + Tamron 70-300 https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49641870283_6c677c50cb_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com...

Re: My foray into UWA lenses. Sigma 17-35 2.8-4

I can say:
Sury! You did good shots.
Super color on Sigma as it should be, but...
A lot of chromatic aberrations, with Sony cameras you should use RAW format files in a good editor to get reed off CA and make sure you don't use 2.8F make a step down to fix soft corners.

Re: A77II ramblings and thoughts

A good PIXEL TF-335 Hot Shoe Converter adapter for Sony, in fact, works better than the original Sony (fell apart after one month of use).

Sury, Aster, thank you for comments! This is a presentation at RWB School Professional Division. They do not decorate the classroom, only the black floor and black drapery. At this time, they also set up a screen for a video presentation. The first couple are RWB students and it was a dance from th...
