Re: How Much Exposure Error Can Be Made With The Fuji X-T2 And The Olympus E-M1 Mark II And Still Have A Usable Image?

I gave up worrying about sensor size, and I put away any prejudiced I had for small sensors and got me a Lumix XZ330, Yes, small sensor but sharp pictures with good DR and very little noise. I have to agree about the Olympus, I have used a EM-10 for a couple of years and I feel the M/4/3 sensor out ...

Re: Sony announces new A9 in New York....

What is Sony's road map for cameras and lenses, can they sustain 2 different mounts and expensive bridge cameras, not to mention the high end and expensive compacts, will A mount survive but only at the expensive pro end, Are the 3rd party lens manufacturers holding off until a clear map is in view ...

Re: Sony announces new A9 in New York....

Wow, you have the whole Sony range almost covered, I just did the opposite, sold most of my Sony kit and got a Lumix Bridge camera, my poor old shoulders had been abused long enough with a bag full of bodies and lenses and I was getting neck problems. The Bridge with the Leica 25-600 does all I want...

Re: Sony A-99 11

I would base my choice between those 2 cameras on the systems they have and after market availability of used lenses which is vast, not to mention 3rd party lenses Ect. Both cameras have a lot going for them and the A-99 11 has some advantages over the Nikon but my choice would be the Nikon for the ...

Re: Great pictures on my HX-90V

Hi guys are you still there, I have just invested in a Bridge camera and apart from my HX-90V compact I have no other Sony product, but I guess I am still eligible to be a member? OK, its a Panny Lumix FZ 330 with a Leica constant F/2.8 zoom, I wish I had moved over years ago, but the quality just w...

Re: Sony announces new A9 in New York....

Never liked the colours on my A-37, I tried every tweak there is but it was never to my liking. My old Olympus E-510 is probably the best out of camera colours and that was with the Panasonic sensor. Later M/4/3 Oly's in my view still exhibit great colours but not quite as good as the older E series...

Re: Sony announces new A9 in New York....

A bit of Psychoanalysis there Peter, but you are right to a point, as you may remember I'm a Jpeg fan and I favour the Fuji/Oly/Canon colours. Yes, on one review of colours ( Jpeg shoot out () it was mentioned that women see colour differently to men not to mention the variations within the gender. ...

Re: Sony announces new A9 in New York....

All things considered, you won't go far wrong with Canon, inferior sensor or not, although I would like to know how inferior as Canon has a huge fan base world wide and I see no one complaining on their chat forums and I don't hold much credence with reviews especially from DP. As one Nikon pro user...

Great pictures on my HX-90V

I always carry my Sony HX-90V compact on holidays, it goes in the pocket and has a great Zeiss zoom lens, but every time I down load on the PC the pictures look so much more pleasing than my A37/standard 18-55 kit lens, The colours are far nicer and overall its a better camera in some ways. Yes, I k...
