Sony HVL-F60M Flash
If you have one of these problems: 1. Flash firing intermittently 2. Flash won't fire in portrait modes 3. Hotshoe not locking 4. Hotshoe pins damage 5. Hotshoe locking button is missing Contact Alzo Digital, CT. They will get you to the right direction, ATG. And you will be able to fix it yourself....

Are shooters today really photographers or just collectors?
Today shooters are not even close being an amateur photographers. 1. Without AF lens, they just don't know which rings to turn. 2. Without zoom lens, they just don't know how to step forward or backward. 3. Without TTL camera & flash meters, they are lost. 4. They always shoot RAW because they c...

Re: a77 remote 3 pin port
Is it the one under the PC Sync Socket? The camera needs to be taken apart and it can be costly. Everything on the side as well as if the hotshoe is defective, the camera has to be taken apart. I had my mini HDMI port replaced for $175.00 on ATG Sony SLT-A99v IR. They gave me a discount since they m...

Re: Sony HVL-F60M Flash
As you all have known, the Sony HVL-F60M Flash's AF and IR (just like all Canon/Metz/Sigma/Vivitar have sensor in the front body while some Nikon flashes are on the side) are in the front. And the head swing like a car wiper blade, the body can not be rotated back. Think of the movie, "The Kara...

Re: Staying power of A99
Hi Birma, Flickr groups and many forums like to ban & flag when products are better than those are in the internet. Quality comes at a cost. Many photographers do not know the name of Yoshihisa Maitani nor met this genius from Olympus. I and my staff have met both, Mr. Maitani and ATG, his son. ...

Re: HVL-F60M Shoe Flash For Sony Alpha A99 DSLT
If you want a flash that will not get overheat nor shutdown quickly then stay away from the Sony HVL-F60M flash. The Sony HVL-F58AM is a little better but no ATG ADI TTL. Just like the Canon 600EX-RT and Nikon SB-910, we demand weather sealed. So the heat from the flashtube & components can not ...

Sony HVL-F60M Flash
Anyone knows how to get HSS when the flash is in bounced modes?
I have no problem getting it on Canon flashes.

Re: Staying power of A99
Battery power on the Sony SLT-A99v or SLT-A99 is really not good. The same is true on the Sony A7r Sony knew this problem that why they provide a free vertical grip only to add for weights when you purchase the body. AF/GPS/OSS/EVF or LCD enabled with the following equipment: ATG Sony SLT-A99v IR So...

Re: A complete rig based on Alpha 77
Hello, I just came in to this site... For faster flash recycle, you would need to use an external battery pack, like ATG/Quantum Battery Pack. But you have to be careful of overheat, shutdown and killing your flash. For saving, you should get the ATG Atomos Shogun Kim or lower model Atomos Shogun. F...

Re: A77 - how to get started
What I am about to get is the ATG Atomos Shogun+ with 512G SSD to record audio/video to it instead on the card. I do not have the the Sony SLT-A77, but have the ATG Sony SLT-A99vr and ATG Sony A7s The set-up is simple, just plug the HDMI cable to mini HDMI on camera and other end to the ATG Atomos S...

You can contact Alzo Digital, CT on the east coast.
The highly ones would be by ATG.
They also do IR modifications on cameras and flashes.

Re: Remote Control App for a58
You can use Sony Remote Camera Control for Window and Mac.
Then you can shoot tethered or shoot wirelessly.
It only save directly to computer which is a bad thing.
Another bad thing is it can not do live-view like Canon, Leica, Hasselblad, Nikon and Olympus can.
