Battery Replacement - FA-ST1AM
Hi everyone, I have a Sony FA-ST1AM Sync Terminal Adaptor, I need to change the Battery. I can remove the cover but there seems no way to remove the battery to replace it. Does anyone have any idea how to do it, it looks flimsy and I don't want to break it. Thanks in anticipation - aaChen96....

Re: Sony Flash Sync
Hello again Tom, is this the adapter you were talking about? $16.95.
It should work off a Tripod with no need for a hotshoe adapter as suggested in the ad? Regards Gary.

Re: Sony Flash Sync
Hi Tom, I see that you say I may be able to get an adapter from Sony but I can't find one unless I'm looking for the wrong thing in the wrong place? I've been to the Sony site but just seems I go round in circles trying to find it! :? There are some on E- Bay from Hong Kong with a circuit safeguard,...

Re: Newbees studio flash problems
Am I right in thinking you can now buy an adapter FA-ST1AM to fit in the camera hotshoe and it will then synch with studio flash on all alpha models except the a300. It costs £149.

Re: Flash sync
I was on Auto - TTL / HVM - 56AM - on camera. Maybe I should look at the book again. The eyepiece wasn't covered either & it was in front of the window so I suppose that didn't help either? Only the second time I've used the Flash. gaz!

Flash sync
Flash misfire; I took some photographs with my a100 using a tripod and a RC 1000 cable (which I thought was Ok by the book) recently and noticed that at times the camera fired BEFORE the flash and the pictures were underexposed as you can imagine. Was the cable at fault? The camere was in the vertic...
