Thank you for your comments

You may be correct. I tend to push up the contrast in Nik Filters "ColorEffect Pro 4" and may have taken it up a little too much.

I agree let us hope others come back soon

They are from 2011 and were taken during my second trip to India. Wizened.jpg Girl on a Motorbike.jpg The image below has been posted before but now converted ...

Re: Myanmar revisited.

With no end insight for this dreadful virus it looks as though it will be some while before I feel comfortable enough to venture abroad again. At least I have my library of images to remind of me some of the wonderful and amazing places I have visited and the good an not so good experiences encounte...

Re: Back in operation

This board should now be fully usable again. The backup restored was from July 23rd so if you've lost a post or reply, it would have been around that date. David Great to have the board up and running again. Thank you. I have not looked through all my old posts but those that I did look at do not s...

Re: Myanmar revisited.

Sury, Thank you. I see some white substance on the faces. Is that something they have applied or light reflection? The white smeared on the faces is Thanakha and is used as a natural sunscreen. According to Wikipedia "Thanakha is a yellowish-white cosmetic paste made from ground bark. It is a d...

Unexpected Mexican "Holiday"

Back in early March I embarked on what was to be my first ocean cruise from San Diego to Fort Lauderdale via the Panama Canal. It had been on my bucket list for a number of years. Unfortunately at the first port of call in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico the cruise was abandoned. Thankfully it was our tour ...

Myanmar revisited.

I hope everyone is keeping safe and well during these unprecedented times. I haven't posted on here for some time and thought I would share some images I have been working on to escape from all those things I should be doing at home during the UK's lock-down. These images were taken eight years ago ...

Thank you. Only 160 passengers on our cruise. A mixture from the USA, Canada, Australia and of course from the UK.

I see you have been cruising around some lovely places in Europe too and have some great images of the places you visited.
