David - I intend buying the A77 when it finally arrives in NZ(!), and am therefore interested in any useful forum topics, like this one is. BUT could you please get rid of that ridiculous dansoft.com nonsense. Many forum administrators disallow such additions to signatures.

Down-load a copy of Friedman's book on the A700 - excellent advice on a whole range of photographic techniques specifically directed at this camera:

Hi David - sorry for the belated response, but I've been out of 'cyber-shot' for a few days. Mmmm! Not sure that a 100% keeper ratio is possible with any lens, let alone the pesky Mirror! Thanks for the welcome Doc! I only wish more of our students had that reverential view of us! Actually, there are many great students, some of whom remain as personal friends of mine. Not a highly-paid career, but a most rewarding one in other ways.
