Re: Continuous Focusing at Single Frame Setting

Thanks David. I have tried AF-A (which I never use before) and found that it behave similar to AF-S. It focuses 2 to 3 times at one half-press. I have checked the screws as well, all tight and secure. Will try clean the contact pins on the cam body, just not sure how. Should I use lint-free cloth wi...

Continuous Focusing at Single Frame Setting

Hi, I have AF problem with my A100 and I hope I can find some advises here. At single frame shot setting, I half press the shutter button, the AF kicks in, beep! indicator flashes but what I get is slightly out of focus view. If I waited for a few more seconds without letting go the half-press, the ...

Re: Challenge 2: Long Shadows

It was Meiji-Jingu alright.
I visited there in mid-Nov 08. Too bad I missed the special festival where children go prayer in kimono. But the unexpected beautiful wedding ceremony filled the gap.

Re: Get rid of power cables crossing the photo

I gave DK's method a try. Definitely much faster and better. But I still mess up the foggy background. I'll need to practice more as Sonolta said. And I will learn the healing brush tool recommended by Tom. Thanks for all the advice guys.

Cheers,

Get rid of power cables crossing the photo

Hi, I always encounter with annoying power cables crossing my landscape photos. I know I should not have them in the frame at the first place, but sometimes I just don't want to give up the shot. I have tried using "Clone Stamp Tools" to slowly clone them away. But, besides taking very lon...

Questions about Backfocus

Hi, I have recently bought a 50mm 1.4. At the shop I tested the lens with my A100 on the focus chart and everything seems OK (f2, 45 degree to the sheet). Yesterday I have used the lens in a shoping mall to shoot at the people on a performing stage, I have got many shots focus sharp at the backdrop ...

Bali Lanscape

Hi, I never post any photo on any forum so far, this is first try. This is one of the shots taken during my vacation to Bali one month ago :) Does it look ordinary? Anyway I did put some effort to PP the sky and take away some CA (A100 with kit lens, serious CA). Welcome any comment. Bali trip.jpg C...

Re: Help, wife dropped my camera!

Hello, I am new here, just registered to this forum yesterday :D . I am from Malaysia and own an A100. I had the similar problem around 6 months ago where I acceidentally knock over my A100 from a 1 meter high table (landed on my feet, ). The camera showed exactly the same symptoms. In fact,...
