They certainly are looking dramatic and sombre especially with that strange tree trunk in the foreground. I like the clouds/sky in the last one, creating an atmosphere of doomsday.

Re: It Was a Matter of Time

. It was a matter of time before we heard/saw the good news too… :) You presented the story of this story of new friendship-for-life so well, JBTaylor. The farm photos are lovely and the new companion appears to be a very gentle creature and I know it's going to be a tight and happy friendship all r...

The neon purple of the second shot is just incredible! :)
They are all beautiful but that second flower shot deserves being a cheerful wall piece, in my opinion.

These are very good, Sury. I'm not sure that stacking produces much better results, apart being your personal choice … :)

The flowers are beautiful and the details impressive. The orange flower has some ghosting to its left probably because of stacking but they are all very nice. :)

. You've done neatly with the showcasing of the Calatrava architecture principles, Sury! :) Those ribs that complement each other to create the structure are very spectacular in these vantage points. And, a neat family photo among all the structural crowding. :) Nice and I hope you all are doing wel...

Re: New York City and Sigma 17-35 f2.8-4 on A99M2

. UWA can make NYC high-rises look absolutely chaotic/dramatic but that's the reason for experimenting in urban hub. Especially the Transportation Hub by architect Santiago Calatrava looks very crammed in among other structures. Keep on exploring with with the combo… :) Good things will happen… Than...

Hi, Sury;

The sunset skylines are truly vivid with colours and I like the tree behind the vineyard in the third photo. The dynamic as you say is impressive.

Re: My foray into UWA lenses. Sigma 17-35 2.8-4

. Sury; Your latest photos are proof -yet again- that it's the eye of the photographer and not the fancy, expensive equipment that makes the perfect photo. Your 90$ Sigma UWA sounds modest but these photos are telling beautiful stories. :) Happy that you're having a blast! Thanks for sharing, Yildiz

. I think you're doing just great with your UWA endeavours, Sury. :D Your compositions are excellent. Your choice of location and selection of the elements that utilized the photo-frame estate are remarkable. I think these are your best to date and the proportions of how you included each natural en...

Interesting names for the particular spots. The Badwater salt crystal formations look like they were always there. Who knows maybe the salt has some therapeutically curing properties that built up over a long time…
