Re: When Life deals you a lemon

Good shots, Sury. Well done!

I'm always impressed by your stacking results.
If the rover trespasses to the visible side of the moon it may show, who knows. It is a rover after all.. :) Your photos are so sharp, it just may show… :)

Very nice, JBTaylor.

Good sets of the lovely garden landscape designs… The bokeh in close ups add more charm to the lights and ornaments of the season. Glad you were able to make it this year as well.

Re: What am I missing? millennial photography...

Maybe you're right I think it's this "social influencer" thing in full effect. I didn't see good composition or lighting or much else, but hey maybe they like the natural look. It's not always about talent, I mean Neil Diamond IMO can't really sing that well, but made an entire career out...

Re: A99-2

Sorry, I didn’t mean to start a Dance Magazine forum. In other news… I’m enjoying the earlier photos on this thread too. I would have liked to have seen the performance of the dancers in the red tunics and pointy hats. Looks pretty cool! :D Sig You're welcome to start a very instructive and ...

Re: Romeo & Juliet

Hi, Sig; They are very nice actually. Photo shooting is about luck, hard work and a keen eye… :) You have a wonderful subject for luck, and you tried hard with a fine eye to get the good shots but there's bound to be lovely yet not so good results. There's some good drama and acting in these shots a...

. Lovely photos from the Nutcracker, ValeryD; Sig nicely observed the dancers and their skills.:) I'll leave it to him to inform us on the reasons why dancers are selected for certain parts of the ballet as a whole. They indeed have the appearance of understudies or maybe there were many casts that ...

. :) Such a 'crisis' is a welcome type of crisis at any age, JBTaylor, if you ask me. Must be a nice experience piloting one and I like the photo where the car is in motion the best, followed by the last shot where your shadow 'ghosts over' the brand plate... Thanks for sharing and safe driving. Yil...

"Objects in Mirror are Closer than they Appear."

No doubt that the driver feels how close the lovely, wind-blown furred face really is: at the nape of his neck!
Wonder why dogs love feeling the wind in their faces?

Re: Romeo & Juliet

. Hi, Sig; :) Love the shots from Romeo & Juliet. The arches served as good isolators of the dancers by providing dark framing for the exposers. I love ballet, therefore these shots are most dear to me. :D And, you always do justice to your dancer friends, Lord Montague. :) Photos of the theater...

Re: Few visitors

. Hi, David Antony; :) Very nice on the Bullfrog and nicely captured. I looked up bullfrogs and learned they grow to become really large. Was this as big? The video of the Humming birds feeding around is especially nice. We must all leave bird feeders where possible for the birds. They are also visu...

These are all lovely, ValeryD. :) Nicely observed.
The second and third photos are gems, in my opinion, for the subject matter.
