Re: Koper, Bled, Slovenia

. I believe the HDR worked just fine with Jaya in the frame. :) The scenery is exceptional and the lake has an exceptional dark tealish water colour actually. Can easily tell the different tones of greens from the rose leaves and shrubs right behind Jaya against the lake's water. The interior of the...

Re: Koper, Bled, Slovenia

. Always, where there's naturally formed water reservoirs of any type, the scenery becomes magical. :) I also agree that the HDR pano is excellent as well as the other photos in the latest post: there's something about the colour vividness, depth and the ripples caused by the rain drops. All photos ...

I love the first one looking over at the bridge, Sury. :)

The rain enhanced some colours and the ripples on the river's surface make for an interesting texture. The street and the buildings in the 2nd photo indeed promise a playful peekaboo. Nice plaza.

Looks very good, Jeffrey.

The videos look good enough to be used as tutorials for swinging the clubs. I'm no expert at golf but the gentlemen look like they are doing something right.

Re: Too Much Speed

. Good coincidence for photography… but one would think that anyone driving with a long trailer would check on speed apparently isn't in the books for some. Good catch, JBTaylor. Glad you and wife and everyone's OK in the sight of such disarray. Thanks for sharing, Yildiz ps. Did the RX100 vii slow ...

Lovely night shots of the square, Sury. :)

The general ambience of the piazza and the architectural aspects are nicely captured.

Re: Dolomites, Italy

. Lovely scenery from the vehicle, Sury. :) The last one with the rear view mirror and the bending road ahead with the spiky mountain tops in the distance is an interesting frame. Thanks for sharing, Yildiz ps. I noticed that there's no apparent camera shake or fuzziness except for some glare/reflec...

Re: Dolomites, Italy

Yildiz, Thank you for your kind words. Perhaps I kept busy taking photos and that served as a distraction from feeling nausea. Fortunately, due to curves and traffic, the buses don't go very fast that helps you quite a bit. It also helps if you sitting in the front row(s). Sury Thank you for the ad...

Re: Dolomites, Italy

. You are more than welcome to the justifying praises, Sury. :) After all you achieved all of your previous goals. I was wondering how those long buses were able to make the narrow bends myself, then I read your mid-post explanations. So many bends like these make me very nauseous since an early age...

Re: Dolomites, Italy

. Brilliant scenes and you've created nicely framed compositions of the regions, Sury. Some parts of The Trail looks precarious; a continuous probability of rock falls can be seen. I love the last three shots as well. The region is majestically beautiful that it commends admiration. Thanks for shari...

Re: Dolomites, Italy

. Hi, Sury; :) Welcome back! The forum was oddly silent / slow in activity for a while now. Glad to hear that you are healthier than ever and able to post some photos from your 3-tier vacation with 'old' friends that keep getting younger and younger as time goes by. :D Not kidding! The town of Corti...

Re: Night shots - open thread

Hi Yildiz. Thanks for the comments. In regards to the last one, the white on the horizon is the lights from the large city of Arequipa, in the lowlands beyond the mountains. The water is a very shallow "dead" lake. That is, it doesn't have any way for the water to leave. It is a salt lake...
