Re: Had a play with live view C & C please :)
Hi Dr
Must be due to the Tamron 2x tele-converter, when I use the 50mm on it's own EXIF show it has a 50mm F1.7 , I guess the 2x is really a 2.1 x tele-converter.
Can't wait to try it on a full moon with my sig 170-500mm, on the a350 it would be a 1500mm f8-9
Cheers, Stephen

Re: Question about Alamy etc
Hi David
I guess using the Sony Image Data Convert to resize the image will not do? I notice when I convert a RAW to Tiff from the a350 I get a 41MB file, so I gues it does not need a lot of upsizing?

Hi Sonolta
Might be a good time to extend the warranty , before you send it in
If you need someone to come over and take shots of the cheerleaders let me know

Re: a350 owners
Thanks David Have you ever used a Minolta 600si film slr? if yes, can you guess how the focus speed of the 600si is to the a350? the 600si only shoots at 2 fps, so I'm used to the slow frame rate :) My biggest concern with the a350 was all the reviews that seemed to suggest it had problems at iso400...

Hi All
Looks like my funds will not stretch to an a700, so looks like a350 is the next choice
I would like to know what a350 owners think it, pos/neg, when it works well/when it doesn't ?
Cheers, Stephen

alpha camera and telescopes
Hi All
Has anyone used a Alpha with a T-ring and telescope? if yes where did you get your t-ring from. I ordered one years ago for my film slr's but it never fitted right, the cost of sending it back to the states was more then I paid for it.
Cheers, Stephen

Re: some advice on a350/700
Thanks all.
I'll need to spend some time in a store and play with both units
Looking at the specs only the a700 main controls are closer to those on the my 600si film SLR.
thanks again
