The 7D is much sharper than the D90. Noise wise the 7D has a slight edge especially when processed with DPP and not in LR.
Could be the lens too. But the 7D is really good.
I have video of the baby at high ISO but trying to figure out how to edit it first!

David, is there much difference between the video implementation on the D90 compared to the D5000?

I'm more fascinated with the fact that the bigger sensors create a surreal subject isolation. I thought of getting a separate video recorder but I rather be have it on the DSLR and have the ability to change lenses.

I'm not gonna be using the video function for fast moving objects. Pentax is out of the question since the lenses for it and the accessories are even harder to come by for me. Canikon stuff is plentiful in the local kijiji and craiglist sites. And since most people say it's all about the glass, I do...

I've considered that. However Sony's IS can be circumvented by Canikon's high ISO. Plus even the kit lenses these days have IS on them.
