I keep my camera's clock set to UTC so I don't have to change it for daylight savings time or when traveling.

I use one of these: http://www.semsons.com/i747bldalogp.html which looks like the Qstarz unit in slightly different packaging. The battery life outside is great, but being inside (out of GPS reception) for much of the day reduces it. There's even linux & Mac software for it: http://sourceforge.n...
