I have my beady eyes on a heavily discounted A77 body and 16-50 lens, however I'm reading all about these so called mushy JPEG's due to heavy handed noise reduction, and the evf contrast blowing out hilites etc which cannot be corrected it seems. Anyone got any comments?

I find the video option on my A33 handy to have. But as for making a video I would rather use a dedicated camcorder. My greatest bugbear with the A33 is the noisy AF on the SAM lens which clicks loudly on continous autofocus. Using manual focus is of no use unless you have a focus puller standing by...
