Thanks David for the quick reply. The metz MZ76-5 has a GN of 76, and the Quantum T5Dr has a GN of 160. Costs of both are about $1,000.00, with battery (US). Are you saying that the Quantum produces about the same amount of light as the Sony 58 ?? The Quantum looks better to me.

Thanks David !! I looked up the Metz 60CT4 and it appears that that model is discontinued. However there is a Metz 76MZ-5 which may be the replacement and looks like want I need. What do you think of the "Quantum Q flash t-5DR" as an alternate ?

I just shot this (using my non union models) with DRO OFF, using the Sony 18-250mm lens, with a not blown exposure, and viola!! Clean edges all around.
