My Minolta 5D will not accept a compact flash card anymore .it comes up with message
cannot read card asks for it to be formatted, still will not work after formatting
any help appreciated

Hi, Nice to hear from you again as you are just up the roud how about a meet up to swap note on cameras & lenses.
I Had a go at the Blyth 'Couple' with my 500 mirror on the 5D but not long enough from the shore. Going to St mary's with it for the 'waders' etc soon .

I Have finally worked out how this is done

Problem solved, Thank you David i can look forward to the visit of 'Blyth' and the 'Bounty' next week to port of Blyth on Tuseday and Newcastle from Thursday until the weekend

having problems loading a card. I cannot shut the camera back when i put a card into the slot. The removal button refuses to sit down & thus keeps ejecting the card so the flap willnot shut.
Anyone else had this problem
