Re: Rocky paths

I think the first image is great, the way the sun shines through the tree's and the muted colurs on the rocks and water :)

Another rescue springer.

I got this one yesterday on a dull day, I was trying to catch the reflection in the dogs eye's of the person throwing his ball, I only managed to get reflections of buildings though :) 70-300mm Konica Minolta lens 1/200s f5.6 ISO 100 Shutter priority http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v187/robertk1/M...

Re: What do you shoot in primarily?

I shoot in RAW because being new to DSLR's that's what every one tells me to do, to my untrained eye the raw images straight from my A200 seem pretty good with out adjustments and are certainly a revelation after a Fuji point and shoot. I Use Picasa to quickly sort through my images, the adjustments...

Re: 18-70 mm lens

The Sigma is a 3.5-4.5 28-70mm. I was wondering if the Sigma image quality would be any better then the kit lens, to my untrained eye, I was very pleased with the Sony 18-70mm, but then coming from a point and shoot to a Dslr I suppose any lens could be an improvement. Looking on the interweb it app...

18-70 mm lens

My 18-70mm kit lens has gone off for repair, it was a week out of warranty but Sony don't want to know, trying to get through to them was a nightmare and expensive using their publicised phone number, I eventually gave up and sent it off to an independent camera repairer who want £90.00 to take it a...

Re: My 50mm 1.7

There's one of these in our local classifieds for sale, £65.00, would that be a good price to pay?

Grass and dogs

Hi, this is my second post so I thought I'd post a couple of images so you could see where I'm at with my pictures. I think really I'm just a happy snapper who enjoys my images, I see most people seem to have a style, I just take pictures of things that interest me, working in Springer spaniel welfa...

Hello From Cornwall UK

Hi, I'm Robert, after a few teething problems I'm glad to say I finally managed to get registered. I have an A200, 18-70mm kit lens, currently away being repaired and a 70-300mm Konica Minolta. I'm slowly getting to grips with a DSLR after only ever owning point and shoots, Olympus, Nikon and a Fufj...
