Re: Flowers 2010

Greg, I believe what you captured is called a yellow magnolia. It has been introduced here in the states, and it is a little pricey. Will only grow in the warmer southern climates in USA.

Re: Town of Tilting on Fogo Island (Newfoundland)

Very Nice Indeed! Footnote: To save on wet, muddy or other conditions for your body and clothes try using a kids roll up plastic sled for those kind of shots. Can find in toy stores/sections during Christmas time. I was able to pick up at our local grocery store on clearance for $1.50 a week ago, an...

I am back to report that I tried again last night, and it is still uploading this shot this morning. Re: Flowers 2010

That is a great talent to capture this element when you are shooting flowers. Well, I guess I am out of luck on s...

Re: Flowers 2010

Tom, You gave me a very good laugh with that shot. We here understand completely. Especially in the U.P. of Michigan where the houses are sometimes on built very tall stilts with many stairs to get to the door. I did not know this until my Father-In Law and husband had shown me in pictures and homes...
