Does anyone have any questions or requests they would like me to try and take forward at IFA? As per my topic, I am back there on Saturday so am more than happy to take more photos etc, ask questions or find anything out for anyone? They have NEX-7 with Zeiss 24 1.8 NEX-7 with 55-210 NEX-7 with 18-5...

The lens was not marked but I will do a bit more digging around later on with staff. Tomorrow we have a day off to see Berlin so by the end of the weekend, I will throw up a more in depth blog post about the new lenses and accessories.

So I finally got round to giving the SAL85F28 a go with the NEX and just blown away by it. Price vs performance is top notch in my book. What I did in this shot is the SAL82F28 on camera then a Canon EF 85 1.8 held in reverse to create a cheap macro. Worked pretty well considering it was lying about...

Yup I made my own transmitter for use with this. All you really need is the audio file then in theory you could use it with anything.

NEX + 24-70Z would gain a lot of interest from public members. Got a lot of people wanting to try out mine after I picked it up.

As mentioned by a few members, it is difficult and not a simple bolt on. I dont think many companies will go out and mod them but looking at electronic mounts for Red Cameras for Canon EF so it looks like it can be done. I wont give up hope in making mine. Ill have a DIY once I finish.

In ref to the e-mount, that is custom made. I have shaved away at the extension tube (plastic) till the fitment is spot on. Then just to make the locking mech.

Yes, I plan to get aperture and AF since it is all electronic. Only time will tell now.
