Which lenses and camera are you using with DMF and LA-EA2? All native Sony/Minolta lenses do DMF with LA-EA2 with the usual limitations, just as they they do with any a-mount body; which means that SAM lenses can't/don't . With Sigma you are limited to screwdriver, HSM won't do. All-in-all, a LA-EA...

Googling this subject suggests that some lenses do and some don't support DMF with the LA-EA2. One suggestion was that lenses which do not have an AF/MF switch do support it...but I can't verify this. My Sigma 50-150 does have a MF/AFswitch.

Focus peaking absolutely works with LA-EA2 in both MF and DMF, just as it should. I am 99% certain that Focus Peaking doesn't work with the LA-EA2 adapter.

Focus peaking works with the cameras internal CDAF system. The LA-EA2 uses the PDAF system in the adapter.
