Thanks for the replies, my situation was just an example. Basically all I am trying to grasp is this, when say taking a meter reading (spot) of a wall, and the meter states it is slightly over, do I bring it back to 0 recompose and take the shot or lock it in at what the spot originally said recompo...

I look forward to attempting the same shot with the Metz AF 48 when I eventually bring it to work this Friday.... brain in overload now hahahaha. Pako, Statics are this... first take a shot with you not in the image, so in theory a room with nothing in it. Then take a 2nd shot with you in the frame....

I know am being biased but seeing as my daughter seems to be my number one photography subject at the moment I had to get a new pic of her. This time, proving she is like her dad and fearful of water... bath time is already fun time for her.
