First full day out with A99, and very impressed.

Re: LA-EA1 Lens supported

Thanks Pako
I was under the impression that very few lens would AF and that at best, they would only work in MF mode.
Outside of the Sony brand, I guess there will be greater incompatibility. (ie with Tamron, Minolta and Sigma)
Thanks again

Re: How to change cRAW timestamp?

I am playing with RAW files for the first time and am quite surprised to see how few applications have support for some later models camera's. The A850 is a case in point. I have found, that depending what Exif data what you want a change, that PhotoME (http://www.photome.de/) allows quite a few cha...

Re: A700 Owner Advice

It is a super camera and I am sure you will have hours of fun (and learning?) with it. Your best investment will be a proper handbook - http://friedmanarchives.com/alpha700/index.htm Consider a second battery. (I have feeling the A100 will not work, but not sure) Also suggest a UV lens filter - also...

Re: Challenge 25: "Happy Holidays and Food" - Submissions

Prawns grilled by Nicole (my better half) in a sort of wok on a BBQ with an open flame. Our treat every few months with friends and a few bottle of wine. Eaten on a bed of rice with lots of garlic and lemon sauce - (Garlic also helps to keeps mosquitoes away as well as reminding you who your true fr...
