Re: OVF & EVF: What should Sony do?

Being a long time a200 user, having purchased an a850 lately, and using an a65 for a short for extended time over the weekend I'm finding the OVF penta-prism of the 850 to be supreme. The a65 EVF bothered me in shooting, especially in the high contrast scenes. I'll never go back to a penta-mirror, b...

Re: Classic car show, Eastern Creek Raceway Sydney, w/ Tam 2

Greg, the Buick is immaculate inside and out. The rear seats were very comfy and plush. Dr. Harout, I'll upload a side view when my PC comes back from some maintenance :)

Classic car show, Eastern Creek Raceway Sydney, w/ Tam 28-75

I recently picked up a Tamron 28-75/2.8 and my initial impressions were a little underwhelming, but I decided to take it out to a Classics car meet held at Eastern Creek raceway and put it through its paces. The sky gave me a lot of unpredictable lighting just to make it all the more fun  Here ...

Re: Challenge #42: "Summer Moved On.."- ends Aug 30

Despite it been the middle of winter here in Australia, we have had an unusually warm week which was very summer like, and to top that off I also spent a few nights up the coast on a get-away. I snapped this lovely swan, on lake Myall, which my cabin was located on the edge of. Summer is always abou...

Re: Butterflies & 135/2.8

Thanks for the comments guys, I must admit I found it tough to focus on the erratic movements but it's all worth it in the end.

Here's a couple more from the set:

Butterflies & 135/2.8

I was getting a little itchy and wanted to use my 135mm and HVL42 on some butterflies so I made my way to the Sydney Wildlife World where their exhibition was open for only one more weekend before winter renovations. Unfortunately there weren't may species on show but I still enjoyed the time. Here ...

Here's a rose I shot a week or two ago whilst introducing a friend to some flash photography. Even though it's not the best shot, I have a soft spot for it.
