I bought a Sigma 12 - 24mm on eBay and never regretted it for its sharp very wide angle view. I have used it on my A900.

Rear filter for Minolta AF 500mm Reflex lens
Does anyone know where I can obtain a Standard UV Rear filter for the Minolta AF 500mm lens ? Alternatively, I suspect that same filter for the Sony AF 500mm lens would fit as well ? Thanks for any advice.

Be careful when buying the batteries being sold on eBay. I bought 2 supposed Sony manufactured from separate dealers in HK and one of them started to work when inserted in my A700, showing the number of frames left on the CF card, but then gave a message "For InfoLithium battery only" and ...

If one owns two identical bodies (eg A700) how does one avoid the RAW/JPEG files from one camera being identical to some generated by the second camera ? One body may be at _DSC6111 and the other currently at _DSC6000 so I assume that this one will , after 111 actuations, have a file name that becom...
