Re: Tiny sensor revenge gallery thread!

Tom, That is an excellent capture. I remember someone's signature in another photo forum
which says no body ever asks a writer what brand of pen you have used to write (I am paraphrasing it)
and it is so true in this case.

Re: Budapest to the Black Sea by boat and coach (Warning some nudity)

Love them all Ossie. I like the treatment in the first one.
The (mostly) empty square/plaza was an interesting juxtaposition
of a typical scenario where they are usually bustling with people
and activity. As for the third one I am happy to call it (human) Nature. :)

Re: High Waters (not talking about pants)

Very dramatic captures Sig. Though I am hoping against hope that the reality is less dramatic, I am sure it is
far more severe. Here is hoping normalcy is restored soon.

Close Up with Minolta MD 100F4 Bellows

I bought the lens few years ago and first time I tried, I was not successful. Yesterday, on a whim I connected it to A77M2 with a MD/MA with Glass adapter and had a better success. All hand held shots. If I use a tripod, I am confident to have more keepers. The lens was purchased on Ebay for less th...

bouquets to art

de Young Museum, San Francisco, California organizes an annual benefit fund raiser called bouquets to art. I visited this year's exhibition. They invite florists to make a floral arrangement inspired by and reminds you of a painting, art work displayed in the museum. You can see the bouquet and the ...

Re: Bees in the backyard

Thank you Valery and Yildiz. What I liked about the crops is that they are about 1/6th the original and yet still
retained the details.

Tulips - Washington Lake Park, Albany, NY

We were in Albany, NY to attend my daughter's graduation (she received her MA in Cognitive Psychology - on her way to PhD). The town had a tulip garden and the flowers were in bloom, and here are some photos from there. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/47931091041_e0a17296a1_b.jpg https://live.st...

Bees in the backyard

With this I can now say we have Birds and Bees in the Backyard. :D All these are taken with Tamron 60 on A99M2. #images=180o/angle -1

I was having trouble connecting A99m2 to my LG 4K TV. I suspected my HDMI switch to be too old to work reliably. Replaced with a new switch which is 4K compatible (claimed) and viola the connection worked like a charm. My TV became a tethered display. So I pointed the camera at the TV and took a sho...
