Re: A Couple of Namibian Landscapes

For me, the monochrome (my favorite one) seems to be more 3Dish compared to colored one. The mountains (1/3 from top) seem to be
flat in the colored one. But it is my personal reaction.

Re: A Couple of Namibian Landscapes

Peter,
Nice set and the B&W is my favorite. It certainly seems to convey the solitude as you phrased it.

Re: A question on A99M2 EVF and Preview

Valery,
Thank you. That is very helpful.
My mistake: I was looking at A77M2 manual.
Don't ask me why I did that.

I could not find any info. in the user manual. Any insight is appreciated. Example: I have CZ135f1.8 on the ...

An experiment in cropping

I did an experiment in cropping an image taken with A99M2 to see if the extra (M)pixels help in not "needing" a zoom in certain circumstances. Taken with CZ24-70 at 70mm FL. The distance is about 40M. Full image https://farm1.staticflickr.com/816/41288084362_90f3980ee1_b.jpg Crop 1. About ...

Yes it has sprung, albeit differently in Bay Area, California. :) Apologies JB, it is not my intent to hijack your thread.
