Re: SONY ALPH A A750
Okay forget it... heres my hope... 14mp 2-3 F-stops better noise control DXO Optics Built in and in software Full Frame 7fps Burst of 36 shots before buffer fills (think of the film days... I'd say thats fair since DSLR's cost waaay more than there film counterparts of old) 30+ AF Sensor points that...

Re: SONY ALPH A A750
Lately, I doubt a 14 MP FF camera would be perceived as "low-spec." Nikon is doing amazing things with light-gathering on a 12 MP sensor. 14 MP would be only slightly more dense, but if Sony could squeeze ISO 12800 out of it as well as Nikon dose with theirs, I'd be willing to pay more th...

Re: SONY ALPH A A750
If its a Full Frame sensor... then that says that the A550 is what Sony sent to take on the Nikon D300S and the Canon 7D - I don't like that. I think its quite possible that Sony will release a Sony A750 thats an R sensor and with 7fps at 14mp and be a cool-killer DSLR. I think they have made room (...

Re: SONY ALPH A A750
By all means it WILL be an APS-C.
Full frame is just right with the higher end A900 at 3k and the hi-lower end A850 at 2k.
A Canon 7D and Nikon D300s midrange DSLR is all Sony is missing. Both are APS-C and without a doubt the A750 will be APS-C.

New Sony DSLR announcement?
Any info? Anyone? When? What show or Press Conference? Anything? I'm wondering why the Advanced Amatuer Line (A700 has been left dry). Any word on a successor announcement or anything? Specs? Anything? R Sensor? Anything?

Re: 550 v 700
The A700 is built tougher as well. Though the A550 is better speced it may not deliver enough image wise to justify the additional money your gonna throw into it.

Re: DSLR A1R "professional"
Its bogus. It says it comes with a grip and 2 batteries. Good try guy. Do the Nikon D3x or Canon 1Ds Mark III come with additional meat and potatoes? Hell no! If you do get a grip with one of those... its built in (something I've wanted Sony/Minolta do do for decades!). F A K E! Go back to CCD? F A ...

Re: CCD SuperHAD II from Sony?
Yeah... at 34mp... the noise will be phenominal! it'll make the alpha a100 noise look like little blessings! Man, Sony needs to prove overall that they can increase mp and maintain or better yet decrease noise for me to be a believer that more MP is what anyone needs. I understand the premise... ma...
