World Traveller

It seems to have been a long time since any posts appeared here. One from Venice on the ferry to the island of Murano last week. I thought I travelled with a great deal of gear when out and about but this gentleman eclipsed me. You can't see his large back pack or the tripod he was carrying World Tr...

Re: Cruise Ships

Last week my better half and I spent a few days in Venice. On the day we visited the island of San Giorgio Maggiore three cruise ships came into port. Of course she thought I had planned it but it was just a coincidence................honest :D Here is one image taken from the top the bell tower. Oc...

Re: Let's post some panoramas

If you are interested here are some photos including some night photos: Henry Thank you for the link. Great images there. Being on an organised tour we were at the mercy of the tour operators itinerary and they can only show you so much in the short time we were there. Your images really bring home...

Re: Let's post some panoramas

Andy, Sury and Henry Thank you for your comments Henry By the way, last year I posted one in this thread of a different view of Budapest that also includes the same Hungarian Parliament Building. Wow! That is a great panorama and taking in virtually the entire city. Was it taken from near Saint Matt...

Re: Let's post some panoramas

Not had much success with panoramas but during a recent river cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam I thought I would give it another try and here is the result.

Birma

Congratulations on capturing these shots. I find it hard enough to get a decent shot of birds in flight let alone Dragonflies.

Peter, Love both images but the second one is my favourite. Here is an image I took several years ago in France. I have always liked it but have been in two minds as to whether to crop out the young lady on the left or not but finally decided to leave her in. I hope that as this image was not taken ...

Great shots! Machu Picchu is on my bucket list and your images just add to my enthusiasm to visit it and the country. Not been to South or Central America and hope to do so in the not too distant future.

Thanks for posting
