Re: Dancers in the Dark - St. Louis Ballet (A7III high ISO)

. Brilliant series of a backstage atmosphere that are neatly shot, Sig. :) Very enjoyable and curious to observe the quiet wait before each and everyone of them thrust themselves into action on the stage. Thanks for sharing. :) Congratulations on your new camera upgrade. Hope we see more photos from...

Re: New Orleans, LA, USA

. The wildlife is apparently very active and abundant in the swamp which is encouraging. Apparently they are shy of human activities unless prompted by food of sorts. Crocodiles are extraordinary animals and best behave cautiously in their zone but hopefully they won't rely on human sources like sea...

It's great to meet some of the curious permanent residents, Sury. :)
Just a tad eerie but great experience around the swamp.

I absolutely love that lift/draw bridge, Sury. :) Good piece of technological history there.

Re: New Orleans, LA, USA

Neat shots, Sury.

That Sousaphone is a monster of a brass instrument. It must be very old with those partly taped or peeled-paint surfaces. I had to look up how it actually functions and is played. Impressive photos of New Orleans streets by day. :)

Re: New Orleans, LA, USA

Thanks for sharing, Sury. :)

The hotel and other captures are revealing nicely of daily life in New Orleans but I especially loved the authenticity in the latest street band/musician photos. So James Brown...or Ray Charles scenes.

Re: Another Nut Job

. Thanks, Sig; So brilliant faces and ambience! I truly enjoyed this series. The little girls could easily have been part of the dancers' casting with their dresses, attitude and attention for details; all elegantly dressed and one little girl even has ballet dancer patterns on her skirt. :D So much...

Re: Another Nut Job

. You've got some nice emotions captured in those hurried moments, Sig. :D It's just so much cheer and the expressions on children's/parents' faces tell all; the kids certainly felt very special after the autograph and photo exchanges! Such shy yet observant little girl that is in white/green stripe...

Lovely and purely magical photo, Valery.:)

May the peaceful, compassionate messages of a Merry Christmas and the open blank page of a new year bring the World together for the best of reasons.
Wishing you all the best everyone! :) A year older and hopefully wiser.

Re: Venice, Italy

. I like the 'Sigh of Bridges' and 'Sight of Bridges' correlation in the context of losing one's freedom to imprisonment. And the bridges of Venice are always lovely. :) Interesting art pieces too, in the land of the colourful Venetian Glass art. :) Thanks for sharing, Sury. Finding good vantage poi...

Re: Venice, Italy

. Wow! I love that labyrinth. :) A place for deep healing and contemplation for the monks, I suppose. But the formal disipline and properness of the gardening is astounding. The glass bricks stacked to form a serpentine form is also interesting. All about relaxing and training the mind on focusing i...

Re: Venice, Italy

. Hi, Sury; Indeed great panos that are testimonies that Venice is a city surrounded by and on top of sea water. :) We can see the stretch of sea beyond where the buildings end and water begins yet again. Yet an other brilliant interior of a church and a spectacular pipe organ. I wonder how it sound...
