Re: A700 V4 available (officially!)

Hi bonneville, Yes, I read it. I have been following every thread and every opinion A700 owners wanted to share the past two weeks. I'm always here when I get online to hear and read the latest among worthy news that concerned the A700 and the introduction of the A900. I was hoping for sample photos...

Re: A700 V4 available (officially!)

Sweet ladies and gentle men of the forum who own one or more A700's,

We who don't own this super equipment are eager to hear what you have to say about this update and see the results in some sample photos if you please... :D

Counting on you all 'officially' this time..

Thanks in advance,

Yildiz

Re: Artisanat

I see.

Well, we also use that word for craftsman as derived from French but spell it 'artizan' much like it actually sounds in French.

Thanks for cllearing this out.

Re: Artisanat

Hi Dr. Harout, :) The matter of the fact is all of the images are good, it really doesn't matter about the genre. I admired every item displayed at the Artisanat. For those who don't know, 'sanat' means 'art' in Turkish. So what the doctor actually wrote as the title means 'artart' to me. Dr. Harout...

Re: Musical instrument

The photo has depth and looks good. The fact that there was no strong sunlight brings out each line and crease in the man's darker facial tones. The photo has a story in it. The fact that this type of woodwind instrument is generically called 'duduk' in many countries amazes me. In Turkish it's 'düd...

Re: Forum backup restored to 13/9 16.xx hours

Hi David,

Thanks for fixing things up!
I lost a couple of my messages from yesterday, but maybe it's for the better as they were in Dr. Harout's 'Storks' thread. I'll send my 'seagulls' in an other thread and relieve him. :)

Re: Mount Ararat

Ah, these are trully lovely Dr. Harout! :)
A lot nicer than the previous shots of the mount if I may say...The hazey look gives it a mystic appeal. And an industrial town in the foreground I gather? Contrasts with the plain natural beauty of the mountain.

Thanks

Re: Add link to photoclubalpha.com in forum

Hi David, If implementing codes doesn't work maybe we can have a 'PhotoClubAlpha Homepage Contents' forum, have a direct link there and enlist the article entries as topics, much like what you have done with the 'Web Content Announcements' forum on the board. This way we can just go to that forum to...

Re: I am so sorry!

Congratulations! Both for the nice photos and to the newly weds Thomas. :) You've managed to catch the groom with shut eyes more than once ... a situation very authenticly prone to such candid wedding shots. But they look over-joyed, so everything must have gone sweetly as it should we gather.. :D T...

Re: A900 DPR Preview.

Hi, I hope I'm not wrong but I came by an update for the Picture Motion Browser at Sony website; http://www.sony.com . Dr. Harout may be pointing to the same one. The link is below. To view the available A700 updates you have to select your computer operating system from the drop-down-menu box at th...

May all of our neighbours be as genuinely sweet as these little ones Dr. Harout, looks like they'll be beneficiaries for a long time. :) Soon they'll become even bolder and follow your actions with inspecting eyes to learn where you actually get the food from and start helping themselves shamelessly...

Re: Firmware v04 for Sony Alpha 700

Hi, Although I am an Alpha 100 user at the moment who is waiting 'the A900' to make her final decisions of purchase either camera or lens wise, I am one of the most pleased to hear of this news of improved firmware. It's a pity some sweet upgrade was not introduced for A100 as I am not planning sell...

Re: French Alps Medieval Village

Must have been one fine day Thomas, :D It's steep and looks like an agony to walk up there with no shade at all but the texture of the city was well worth taking photos of. I can relate to the weather as it has been far too warm for weeks without a single drop of rain in Istanbul which makes us all ...
