Re: Race Track

. Hi, JBTaylor; There's a Racing or specialized-automotive-magazine quality to your shots; especially the color warmth or white balance differences as you pointed out already, and definitely a vintage/nostalgic feel. Good atmosphere. I hope you fully enjoy and get the shots that'll be for keeps. :) ...

Re: Flowers 2019 - Your Flower and Garden Shots

. Nice images, Sury, but I like the first one for making the flowers appear like jewels shimmering in the dark. :) Working with multiple devices can be complicating things a little. Over time, I think you'll settle for certain device arrangements and adjustments and all will be looking even better. ...

Re: Milky Way

. :D Sury, good to hear that the context and production purpose behind the last image are similar between the shooter and the viewer. That's as much as the viewer can get close to what the creator of the image had in mind. Good work and much of the praise goes to JBTaylor, of course. :) Our sky is m...

Re: Milky Way

. Hi, Sury; :D First, happy Apollo 11 Moon Landing Day! :D At least, I feel very happy about the particular feat of mankind that was embodied by peace and good intentions. We benefitted so much from the inventions of that period and moving forward, hopefully. Your Milky Way photo quest is aiding in ...

Sury, you are showing progress and the equipment works nicely from the looks of it. The flowers look good...and with your dedication, you'll be an excellent shooter in minimal light conditions. :)

Re: Flowers 2019 - Your Flower and Garden Shots

…. Last ones. Taken with the 70-200mm at 200mm. Not sure of the difference in DOF between 135mm at f2.0 and 200mm @ f2.8. They look pretty similar. …. The lilies are beautiful, JBTaylor, frills and curls! They are an interesting and spectacular species for sure and the bokeh is 'silky', in my opini...

Re: Familial Photos A99M2 + CZ24-70F2.8

. So sweet and charming they are, Sury. I think, what you missed doing for the first shot's composition, you made up in the second and third shots'. :) Well done. The mother+daughter's nicely thought poses, glances are only enhanced by the fineness and beauty of the traditional attires. :D Congratul...

Lovely flowers, Sury.

These flowers deserve a neat closer look, in my opinion. :) Macro shots and compositions would have been great too.

Re: Flowers 2019 - Your Flower and Garden Shots

. Very lovely Lily shots, JBTaylor, and now I understand where Sury was pointing with the idea of lens restrictions/limitations. When the lens limits, the creativity of the photographer kicks in with composition and post-production… :) Good that you are a good photographer and we enjoy many lovely c...

Re: Flowers 2019 - Your Flower and Garden Shots

. JBTaylor, those lilies look perfect in both lights, that's how beautiful they are; the texture on the petals are very neat. But it may be a good idea to wake up early for some photography while the flowers last. :D They are gorgeous. I think that Sony 100mm macro has a good take on these beauties....

Re: Flowers 2019 - Your Flower and Garden Shots

Thank you Yildiz. So the purple one is called Morning Glory. Learned one more thing. Sury :) Sorry for the confusion, Sury, I miss-identified the purple trumpet-shaped flower as Morning Glory. In fact, your flower is a type of Datura and is poisonous and has different looking leaves. It's a ground ...
