Re: Rawlings Conservatory

I think Valery is right. There is no way to present wide angle shots in this forum.

Rawlings Conservatory

Located n the heart of Baltimore, MD, the Rawlings Conservatory is a little oasis in an area of the city that has seen better days. Took a quick trip up there today and shot mostly super wide. a99 Tamron 15-30 f2.8 http://a4.pbase.com/g10/64/511964/2/167871226.todaY7X6.jpg http://a4.pbase.com/g10/64...

Re: Water Age

Thanks for commenting. I wanted to exploit the bokeh that the ZA 135 produces. Never seen it in video before. The camera defaults to f3.5 in auto mode but the lens still delivers. It's amazing what one can find will wandering around the back yard. For Yildiz; https://www.allmusic.com/album/the-monum...

Water Age

Stir crazy due to 3 straight days of heavy rain. Why not reflect the water that fills my world in still and moving images. Quick walk around the house with the a99 and ZA 135mm 1.8. http://a4.pbase.com/g10/64/511964/2/167507733.vpnyt1T6.jpg http://a4.pbase.com/g10/64/511964/2/167507735.CIm8PTuP.jpg ...

Re: Spring has Srpung

Thank you both for commenting. It was a fun exercise. The shots with the Tamron were taken with one hand as I was holding the umbrella with the other. http://a4.pbase.com/g10/64/511964/2/167191609.4uY0RMQl.jpg The rest were taken from inside the car, making sure that the snow was blowing in the othe...

Sury,
I see the image in mine and your post.
Look for architecture and cityscapes next.

Testing out a new lens. Yes, they are overproduced but the capability of this baby is clear.

Re: Show us PORTRAITS

Your last image is a fine example of my point. Crop her at the shoulder and something else happens.
Our equipment catches us sometimes. Even within those constraints, we can find beauty.
