Re: Milky Way

Yes, I understand. More ISO does increase sensitivity and hence more light. Given that you would need to be focused at infinity, depth of field doesn't mean as much. The lack of light gets you the shutter speed anyway. Thanks for posting. It has made me want to give this another crack. Taking a trip...

Re: Milky Way

An excellent start. I see some hints of post production (maybe). What lens?
Most important, what do you think of the shots and what do you do next?

Re: Flowers 2019 - Your Flower and Garden Shots

The 135mm is a portrait lens. Take portraits of flowers and you will be fine. Many years ago I developed a taste for movie soundtracks. One of my favorite musical artists was Maurice Jarre. He collaborated on several movies with director Peter Weir. The list includes The Year of Living Dangerously, ...

Re: Flowers 2019 - Your Flower and Garden Shots

Very nice Sury. Those roses look familiar. Visited Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens today. As always, the 135mm was along for the ride. https://a4.pbase.com/g12/64/511964/2/169428907.kQ7JZ7zk.jpg https://a4.pbase.com/g12/64/511964/2/169428913.kLLEynhy.jpg For kicks, I tried the Tamron 15-30mm. https://a4....
