Re: Flowers 2014

I love that you stick to your own style Marcell. I always know they are yours when browsing on Flickr. These are again great examples. I like the was you push/flash the background away. The first and second image do it for me most.

Thanks for sharing!

Personally I think this one does give you that sense of emptiness and loneliness. The toning and flat colors support it nicely.

That's what made us decide to go to the island a second time. I'm a fan of the barren lands, the missus for the lush, sub-tropical forrests.

Re: Birds 2014

A new one for the list! Never saw a Berthelot Pipit (Anthus berthelotii) before and probably never will again. Had to do a lot of searching through the avibase.org database to even ID the little guy. https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3840/14457454220_10c240dcac_b.jpg Berthelot's Pipit (Anthus ...

Re: Insects...

Well Andy, funny you'd mentioned that. I became interested in photography after we went to Madeira 5 years ago. I came back from that holiday, using a simple Canon Ixus compact to record the beautiful landscapes there, knowing nothing about photography. I remember coming home, all excited and wanted...
