Re: Old Cars

Both good shots in pleasant settings. Most of my old car shots were taken at vintage shows, and as a result have many undesirable objects in the scene. For instance this shot of an old Austin Seven (straight jpg conversion from raw file). 120520123.jpg However, with a bit of work even these can be t...

Re: Teton Waterfall (added color version)

Wow.

I prefer the B&W, although I think it may have been better with the deeper base as seen in the colour version. I love the way that the yellow trees look like snow in the B&W version and make the image seem colder.

Re: Landscape 2013

A couple of shots of the same scene at different times of the year. I was in two minds as to whether or not this should go into Sury's "frequently visited locations" but decided to go with the landscape option. This is an area named Buckland in Western Australia. regards - Peter 120429025....

Yanchep, but it could be almost anywhere in WA. The cloud formations, sunsets and radiant light rays are everywhere. So much so that such images do not do well at WA photo clubs - much too common!

Re: Landscape 2013

canal rocks at dunsborough, wa Nice one AA. I've just looked at the location on Google Earth. We spent a week or so in the area and I somehow missed the Canal Rocks. Lots of shots of Sugarloaf Rock, and sunrise over the bay, even sunset shots off the coast at Wyadup Road, but no Canal Rocks :( rega...

Re: Cameracraft 3

Talking of viewpoints, I found the image on the back cover thought provoking and would give it a high rating. However, I would also point out to the artist that one should be aware of parallax errors when producing refections in Photoshop.
