Re: pink images

Time to see the camera repair man. As you said, probably a loose connection. Still under warranty?

Re: Future of A mount

I am not sure what you are getting at. Can you elaborate? Henry, you started this thread by saying that there were a lot of A mount lenses out there, and the also talking about sharing components. Maybe I read you wrong, but my reply is based on thinking that electronic components and design R&...

Re: Future of A mount

Henry, While I can see using similar CPUs, etc., the problem with lenses is the very short flange distance. Tamron, etc, can easily adjust for the slight variations between Sony, Canon, Nikon or Pentax, flange distance, but E-mount requires a whole new design, and many of the old designs are not rea...

The colors are very vivid and strong! Are these repainted from time to time or just that well preserved?

Sury,
these are all great shots! I especially like the one where you cloned out the boat masts.

... Hi Dusty; : ) You are raising your girls tough, I see. Starting hunting at an early age and the killing of gentle-looking deers is rather tough in my case but life shapes us in many different ways and some tough decisions are always required to be made. There's certainly a learning curve there:...

Well, here's something dead with someone live mocking it's tongue hanging out!

This was Elizabeth's deer from the youth hunt in 2013. Emma goes with me this year Oct 29/30, so maybe I'll get to submit another.

Henry, is there any way to update the firmware to the international version? Seems like some smart entrepreneur would figure that out!

Obviously, they wanted Mom to buy the big camera to take shots of the kids, and Dad the sneaky little one to take shots of other girls when Mom wasn't looking!

Re: Mom's little family camera

Not a whole lot larger than the Polaroid I inherited from my Aunt many years ago. They had purchased it on the early 60s to take photos of us wonderful nieces and nephews! They gave it to me, I unfolded it and noticed it still had film in it. I took one shot, and the flash even worked (once and once...

Re: LA-EA2-like adapter for Canon, Nikon, Pentax, etc. lenses?

I have been trying out my 18-135 SAM on the A6000 via the LA-EA2 adapter, stunning pictures more so than on my old A57, so I guess that shows how good the A6000 sensor is. One problem, no A mount lens will be stabilised, so you may be limited to focal length for hand holding, at 135mm I had a few p...
