People gotta choose where to put the $500. Either get a camera or an ipad, many choose the ipad. Lucky us who can afford both

They have an excellent 16MP sensor and a few years ago we would have insisted it would be insane to stuff 16MP into an APS-C sensor and whatever technology advance there is, high ISO performance would forceably be bad. I can't imagin Sony releasing that sensor if it's that horrible, though I haven't...

Not required since the NEX contrast AF is off the main sensor and thus there can't be front or back focus.

Considering the price of adaptor+viewfinder, it might make more sense to get an A33 (or even an A65) in addition to your NEX. Put a (small) wide angle lens (like the new 24/1.8 ) and a zoom (like 70-300G ) on the A33 and it would be just perfect
