Re: best holiday pic?
Next stop for me will be London for work later this month and then off to Spain for a week in march. I'm taking my sweety, parents, brother and sister in law to Andalusia for my birthday. Can't wait! How warm! I'm stuck here in the Midlands planning to move to Devon - so holidays are thin on the gr...

Re: Birds 2011
Totally agree tha the blue faced chap is extra special :D . The contrast of the blues with the red berries, the startling blue plummage, and the sky behind the bird all make that a winner. They look so tropical compared to our little brown sparrows. There are some great shots on this thread. I don'...

Re: Super cold today -6 degrees on Dartmoor
Hi - I love these shots. And know some of the areas. I live in Coventry in the middle of the country but am moving to Devon this year so I can be nearer Dartmoor and the coast.
I've attached a couple from my last visit in November.

Gogeous light at Hadrian's wall. Love it. Reflection wise - five minutes of no wind then gone. Just luck.

Oh definately the lens! Went to wales with it and had a great time. The chocolate has been and gone but the lens - I'll keep that for a long time.pakodominguez wrote:which one do you like better?ACIPhotos wrote:I'm now the proud owner of some chocolate and a Sony 24-70mm Zeiss.

Oh wow! I love these shots - sooo sharp and clear. I took a couple in Wales recently but the fall hasreally begun yet. So they came out very green. I think you captured the essence very well.

Re: Challenge 32: "Windswept !... It's Fall'ing..."
Nice entry shot. A very pleasant and dreamy shot. Would you care to share the secret on how you took this shot? I move the camera when I press the shutter. Usually it takes about a shutter speed of 1/6th to get the desired effect. The colours came out slightly pink on this due to the light so I lef...

Re: Zeiss 24-70 Sweet spot
Ooo chocolate. Ooo Zeiss 24-70. I want one!! I think. Still cant decide if I need a wider angle. Got stung on Ebay trying to buy a Minolta G 17-35mm lens which wasn't. So now I'm indecisive all over again. Lovely shot. Get the KM 17-35 f2.8-4: other than a little soft @35mm and wide open, it is a w...
