Re: Landscape 2014

Birma, it's harder to waste money when you start out with very little. A problem most Yanks and Brits know very little about. ;) By the way did you notice how the second from the right fence post is held up?

Sury, the highest point in Bolivia is over 20,000.

jbtaylor, Thanks. :)

Re: Landscape 2014

This area in Bolivia is commonly called the cordillera. It's a low section of the Andes in Bolivia. The elevation at this point is only 12,500 ft.

Re: Photos with evidence of the photographer

It was at a rural mountain school in Bolivia. I have a friend that's a missionary down there and I went down to visit and help out for a couple of weeks. The local adults are pretty timid about foreigners coming in and taking a bunch of pictures. However, they really enjoy my friend and readily gave...

Re: Photos with evidence of the photographer

If you have a discerning eye, you might be able to pick out the photographer. ;) hmm, the little girl on the right?  Actually, it might have been her. I think every one of those kids had his or her hands on the camera at one point or another during this shot. They enjoyed looking at ...
