You'll be spoilt for choice. North Cornwall coast should give you plenty of inspiration if you're into the wilder places. Plenty of derelict engine houses against a backdrop of cliffs and the sea, that sort of thing. Looking forward to your pictures already!

Thanks for the advice David. Having trouble locating the Cache - never was much good with computers! Will keep trying. At least I can now process my wife's A200 RAW files, which I couldn't before. A550 seems to produce 2 identical files, both in ARW 2.1 (Compressed) format. Is that correct? Stewart

Thanks David. Have checked installation and seems OK, but you've lost me with the RAW Cache!!!

Thanks. According to the Adobe website the A550 is supported by 5.5. Installation appears OK. I may just buy PSE 8 as there are plenty of half-price offers at the moment.

I have a problem accessing RAWs from my new a550 in Photoshop Elements 6, despite downloading Camera Raw 5.5. Is OK with my a100 files, and my wife's a200 ones. Any ideas?

Do I understand correctly that Minolta / older Sony / Tamron etc., screw drive lenses won't be fully compatible with the A750? How does that fit with the intent to rule the enthusiast DSLR market? Sounds fine if I was starting a system from scratch. Or am I barking up the wrong tree? Does this expla...

Not as spectacular as some pictures on this thread, but an iconic location nevertheless, instantly recognisable (I hope) to anyone with a passing knowledge of the history of photography.

I would like to echo the positive responses from Dr Harout, Birma, etc. Just wish my "hit" rate was 1 in 20!

Thank to Birma for suggesting I post some flowers here - regretably 2009, but gives us something to look forward to. All taken in a small wood near Urchfont, Wiltshire, on the A100 with 18-70 kit lens.

Well. I gave in to temptation and went withthe Tamron. Haven't had much time to use it yet, but did get these early snowdrops today.

A100+17-50, 1/80 @ F5.

Anyone out there gain inspiration from the sea and ships?
