Sony SAM 28-75/2.8 Camera Body button question:?:

Can anyone tell me if the camera AF/MF button work with the SAM 28-75/2.8? It doesn't with the SAM 18-55 kit lens where you have to use a mechanical switch on the lens, but I don't know if that is typical for all SAM lenses. As far as I'm aware this is the case for all SAM Lenses bt I've never seen ...

Re: Pentax K-r huge AF problems..

Indoors the K5 is little better than the Kr, outdoors is a different story, I absolutely loved it and only sold it when Pentax was taken over by Ricoh, I now feel that may have been premature as Ricoh may be headed in the right direction (Rumours). D7000 is a great Camera, I loved mine but the muck ...

Re: a77 image quality advice, how do I get the best from it?

Thanks for that, I may have read it:!: Not sure about that, and the a65 is a good point as imaging with that beast applies equally. I may acutually prefer that to another go at the a77 though I found the physical size of the a77 about perfect, and the handgrip about the best I've ever tried and I've...

Re: a77 image quality advice, how do I get the best from it?

Moot, a brand new broken a850, thats for landscaping though I tried the a77, for lthe Landscapes and just couldn't quite get away with it. I prefer the files from the 24Mp 35MM size sensor, they seem to allow you to mess em about a lot more in post and I'm a fiddler so I like that. The a77 may be go...

Re: a77 image quality advice, how do I get the best from it?

Longer term here, I may like a fastish Prime/Zoom to partener with an A850/a77A580 setup as an alternate to the 70-400 on Bad Back Days... Any suggestions here, Not a Kilo and a Half of glass as one of them is enough. Thinking in the 100-200ish range so the likes of the 100 macro, which one of these...
