The alligator shots are really good, Sury.
As you said, a zoom lens would have produced better photos of the birds...

Now, that is both amazing and dangerous looking, Sury.
I like them and Sigma 17-35 did well, in my opinion.

Amazing, Valery.
These birds are so neatly captured, and so pleasing to observe for us viewers ...
The last one is so joyful that I want to splash around in bare feet, in a shallow pool of stream water myself!

. Sury, thank you. :) These three that you uploaded are great but especially the 1st is a charmer with even light diffusion, details and wonderful colors. :D The second is great in details of the pollen and creased, creamy petal details but the dark shadow across the fine petals are intrusive. The 3...

Thank you, Sury, Henry, Valery and Jeff;
Thank goodness for the neat, buzzing micro cosmos so we can sometimes shoot neat creatures!

In detail abundance it's almost like an early morning or afternoon light condition kind of shot, Jeff. :) I love that you went low to accommodate the stone wall as your base, raising our eyes to the cosmic sky beyond with some strange-looking plants creating an alien appearance; almost like watchi...

It's always a joy to breathe fresh clean, crisp, chilly mountain air. That being said, at 15,700 ft the oxygen is a little scarce. It was amazing how a little climb up a little tiny hill in order to take a picture was sufficient feel the lack of O2 that my body was screaming for. When we hit 16,000...

Looks great as a winter scene, especially the rusty color of the trucks against the flying, powdery snow is doing the real magic!
I remember this photo really well. Years went by really fast.

What a spectacular species, this bird is, Sury!
I'd suggest a little more contrast and a tad of sharpening and I believe the photo would look much more beautiful.
