Starting this thread so that we don't have to spoil another thread, and also keep lens discussion in it's proper place :D So I own this lens since august and I think it is a good lens at a good price. I haven't tried any other SSM/HSM etc. lenses but I think it is very quiet and AF speed is good but...

Recently bought a simple 1TB LaCie NAS, works fine for my purposes... But I've transfered via WiFi so far and it is s...l.....o....w... Will have to upgrade to a Gbps-card in my PC and a couple of Gbps-switches to set up the net
