By the way, how were you able to upload those photos? The attachments functionality on this site seems to be broken for me. When I click on Add files nothing happens.

Edit: I was using Safari, but I just tried it in Opera and it works.

Lately I have been getting videos popping up on youtube of a bunch of teenagers and 20-somethings using old, cheap digicams from 10-20 years ago. 3-4-5-6 megapixels, usually. I have driven through Joshua Tree National Park a couple of times, but both times I was on my way somewhere so did not have a chance to stop, look around, and take photos.

These days Mom pulls out her smartphone to snap a pic of the kiddos. Years ago she carried this in her purse.
