Re: What to take?

Accompanying a bunch of 5th graders means you are not likely to have many chances to take your time and do a lot of nature, etc. photography. You will probably be taking lots of photos of the kids and other adults on the trip though -- and that will probably be fun. I would just take the 16-50mm, i...

Re: Sony A77 Screen Protector

I got this for my A65. I fits the actual visual part of the screen but not 100% edge to edge. But for me it fits great and very cheap.

Re: A good staring Prime?

Thanks for the ideas. I think I am having a case of lens envy. So many great photographers on the forums and awesome pictures with the great high end CZ primes. Hoping someday I can sell a photo or two to help pay for the glass upgrades but the Sony 85mm f2.8 would be a good start for me.

Re: A good staring Prime?

Good question I guess I am not sure. I love the macro pictures I have done. But would like to do more portrait and landscape. So I kind of mix it all up. Sometimes with the family with 3 kids it is hard to get to take more than a few dozen pictures a week. But it is a life long passion that started ...

A good staring Prime?

I was thinking on getting one good prime lens. What would be a good one to save up for? I currently have the Sony 16-50mm 2.8, a late 1990's version on the Tamron 90mm macro, Sony 35mm 1.8, and a Sony 55-200. All will be used on my A65.

Thanks for any input.  :D :D
