Hi Henry...
I don't know why you're having problems with the copy protection, it's perfectly transparent to me. See my post below. I tried 6.1.1 and new problems cropped up. Also, if you look at posts from other people in this thread it is clear that Dx0 is chock full of bugs. Glad you like it though. I'm also...

Re: DXO Won't read my A900 ARW
Unless I'm mistaken, the Sony IDC package writes changes back into the RAW file. If you do this, DxO cannot open them. Could this be the issue?

Re: Rebuttal of lukewarm A550 review...
My point stands, however unpleasant it might be, I see 3 identical posts about this, one here, one on DP, and one on Dyxum. It certainly raises a few questions in my mind. LOL, are you serious? I see probably way more than THREE HUNDRED identical posts from you on the same forums, but Gary can't po...

About DNG...
I've always been nervous about DNG. At one stage, when I had my 7D and A100, I went through a phase of converting to DNG and deleting the raw files, and now I regret it. The reason is that I was using Bibble, and I am now using DxO, and neither will read the DNG files. The only products I have that ...

Hi David...
But I've been missing the 24mm equivalent (or lens) with my two alternative lenses being the 28-75mm f/2.8 (exceptional for close-ups) and the 28-105mm, on the A900. The 17-35mm is OK at 24mm but can not really be kept on the camera as a walkaround lens. The Sigma 12-24mm is wonderful at 12mm to 16...

That just about sums up my thoughts on the matter.
Your objections are well-known, but more and more you are sounding like anyone who disagrees with you cannot possibly be right, and now cannot even be an ethical person.

Hi Frank...
I did some 1600 ISO shots for an event for my daughter, and they were very good. DxO 6.1 helped a lot, it really does control the noise very well.

Re: Very happy with my first DxO 6 processing
Great pics! I really like DxO too, great colours, distorsion correction, sharpness and the DxO lighting module is awesome, when you learn how to use the advanced settings it gives you a lot of flexibility. But I'm not a big fan of its default high ISO NR, I prefer to set the luma NR at 10% so it wo...

Both my lenses are supported lenses in DxO. If you have supported lenses, it's well worth trying!

Congatulations! The colours and the amount of detail and contrast is striking.

Very happy with my first DxO 6 processing
I upgraded my DxO V5 to V6, not because I was fond of V5, but because it was so inexpensive and I thought it would be worth a try. My first attempt after I upgraded resulted in a crash, so I didn't use it for awhile. However, I've been following the forums and discussions, and on Monday I went with ...

Hi Dusty...
That's a nice bit to add to the mix! Whoever it was that was worried about ACR not handling the CA on an 850 now has no need to worry - IF he's in one of those "select European countries"! Dusty It also takes away one of my main issues with DxO, the slow speed at which they update their c...

A850 and DxO...
1) DxO released an update yesterday that fixes the A900 green colour cast. The updates also supports the A850!! It doesn't do anything else, it's a pure Sony update. 2) The explanation became clear today. The full DxO Elite package is included with the A850 "in some European countries". So...
