Re: Exhibit your B&W shots
Nice B&W shots Doc, Sury and Richard! I have to admit to living vicariously through Doc's photos of late!
Here are a couple from New Orleans. Dannelle and I went there for a quick getaway not too long ago.

Re: New Sigma 18-35mm f1.8
I like the 1.8 max aperture for low light... I may pull the trigger for use for the night time band performances, though the 2X zoom is a bit short. I suppose to make more range would make it a huge, expensive lens. Any idea on release date?

Great Heron DA!
Here are some seagulls from our Summer trip to Galveston. There were some kids feeding them as I snapped away.. Suddenly they made this formation, and I got one good one in.

Lovely shot Valery! I was lucky that some nearby farmers planted sunflowers this spring, and I was able to get a few shots in.

A lot of great ferry shots here. Not a typical subject for me, living 4 hours from the coast myself, but Seattle did present opportunities. This is the Seattle-Bainbridge ferry returning to Seattle.
Enjoy

Nice B/W shots by all. Great shot of the Shard in London caporip. That sherpard seems completely unfazed by your presence Doc.. You really have him in his element.

Alphas at the protest
While in Seattle, Ian and I came across a protest against police brutality. It was a pleasant surprise, for us anyway, and we spotted two other Alphas in the crowd. All told, there were 4 Alphas in an area of less than one square block. (My a77, Ian's a700, the other a77, and a65) That has to be a r...

Thanks everybody! It was a wonderful trip, and I am lucky to have a woman that tolerates my photo obsession as much as Dannelle does. Kevin- I bet yours did cost a bit more, but man... What an adventure. Dannelle and I need to make a trip up there! Your photos from your new home are wonderful!!
