This adaptor is a joke. There is a tiny target group and the price would be close to the price of an A33 which is a much better body for a-mount lenses.

So I am committed to NEX, but I need something like this device coupled with faster AF/AE and more dedicated E-mount lenses fielding high IQ to handle 24Mp. I also want faster AF and more lenses, but don't need 24mp. Maybe thay can make a cut down NEX7 with 16mp and maybe les fps (like A900 vs A850).

Without wanting to comment on your pics, I have returned two 70-400 last year. The first one was a real lemon, often nothing was in focus. Its true I'd also like to see more lenses. Saw a used A-mount 50/1.8 yesterday for 80 euros incl. pp and was close to buying it. Then I remembered how little use my now sold 50/1.7 got and resisted. It would be nice to see this kind of offers for the NEX sometimes. Will certainly get the 55-200, no ...

And did I mention how much I dislike this cell-phone filming? Have been to the ZZ-top concert yesterday night and from our place up there we've seen hundreds of people filming wissa I-phone. And if I say hundreds, it was certainly many more

Some day, very small sensors will be able to produce 14 -18 MP low noise photos, of a decent dynamic range and useable ISO range (maybe never at 256,000, but who really needs that?). Then we'll all be able to buy a good camera with a fixed 18-250 equivalent lens that we can use for an everyday came...

I have totally gone off the idea of buying the Sony 18-200mm E-mount "giant". I am certain now that it was really designed for the VG10 rather than NEX-3/5 series. Have said that before - good that two systems share the same mount, but lens requirements are different. And a video cam cert...
