Re: NEX 7 Raw Support?

Unlike Lightroom you do not have to import a catalogue, you select the file(s) from its folder, make your alterations and then hit process! DXO do a time limited trial version so you don't have to outlay any money to give it a go. The RAW processing in version 7 is much better with my A100/A700/A900...

Re: NEX 7 Raw Support?

Website says it's the standard - follow the link above and enter Sony and Nex 7 as brand and model and it will tell you what lenses are supported and the version you require.

Philip

Edit - you need to select the standard or elite tab once you've selected brand and model.....

Re: NEX 7 Raw Support?

Hi Dave,

Can't answer about Corel, but DXO 7 supports the NEX7 and a few lenses http://www.dxo.com/uk/photo/dxo_optics_ ... _equipment

Re: Thank You photoclubalpha

Dave, The D800 is a really good camera - what a replacement A900 should have been (and could still be....). I did the same as you're doing and would like to point out that not only is the sensor probably of Sony origin, but the battery is labelled as of Sony manufacture! So in many ways I am still s...

Re: 5DMark3 - IR Comparometer vs. A900

I collected my D800 yesterday - I am not disappointed. Initial impressions are that it is a substantial improvement upon the A900 I sold last month; lightning fast af lock; well sealed and balanced body; particularly good results at higher ISO settings - don't go by the dpreview studio shoots - down...

Re: Monitor choice

I'm using an Eizo SX2462W, which I've had about 6 months. Accurate out of the box, but lots of options to fine tune if need be.

Re: Canon EOS 5D Mark III

Some userers are not at all happy about the pixel count, true, whilst a fair proportion are happy; the biggest bugbear appears to be the the price - http://www.canonrumors.com/forum/index.php/topic,3802.0.html . Glad I'm not a camera designer! Overall it looks as though it has worthwhile impro...

Re: End of the road for the 580?

Barry, you've hit the nail on the head - Sony have got to realise that you don't cease production of your top end product(s) without new products to replace them, ready to go and on the shelf  . It's this hit and miss approach that has made me sell my A900 and my lenses. I miss the in body SSS...

Re: Sony lens price hike due shortly

Not good news, although reports suggest that Europe and Asia are not affected. Could be worse - the price is out for the new Canon 24-70 F2.8 - yours for a mere £2299 http://www.calumetphoto.co.uk/eng/produ ... anon12lens

Re: SAL 500 F4 G Is here!

It's a shame, because Sony users have been waiting a long time for the official announcement, and now it's arrived, the price is even higher then the most pessimistic doomsayers foretold :-(

Re: FF Joys...

I recently sold a boxed, near mint, Sony 50mm F1.4 for £145 - so you might be fortunate and get a few pounds more, but interest wasn't that strong - shame, they're a great lens!

Good luck!
