this is my 2nd time to see a brown goshawk in the suburb and this time on our backyard, got it while watching tv when it perched on a cut tree with a catch

after the birds had gone at mid-day, i tried to shoot a part of the wetlands using the kitlens with an r72 infrared filter and this is the result in b/w....

thanks aster :) i went back to the wetlands the other morning and tried to see if there are some activities before winter comes, i've seen kites and a sea-eagle but they were too far from my spot.....after 3 hours of stalking them, i head back to the car and calling it a day when suddenly something ...

it was my first time to shoot the redbull air race here in perth last year and it was awesome.....our first position that morning was at the last pylon in the course and this wild card competitor was trying to qualify for the finals...................but he didn't make it :wink: http://i163.photobuc...
