What about all the batteries that Sony have had to replace? Possibly Sonys biggest failure. I've never had issues with my two Sony dSLRs (A100, A700). Overall, all my Sony products have been very reliable. My VAIO computer had a clouding effect on the LCD screen though, but they replaced that screen.

What you say is correct, most of it is up to the internals of the monitor. The monitor I tested on is a cheap Samsung TFT panel. I'm a big fan of windmills. Here in sweden an island called Öland is famous for its windmills. I live not far from there.

I've only used a bellows before, but now I came across big bits off dust that didnt budge.. since I refuse to pay the ridiculous price for visibledusts swipes, I got the Butterfly instead. Yeah, it was pretty overpriced also but at least I can use it more than once. AND it has a built in flashlight....
